Tomi Lammassaari Appointed Business Controller

Fishheart Oy Ltd. has appointed Tomi Lammassaari as Business Controller. In his role, Lammassaari will be responsible for developing financial management and reporting, analytics, and supporting business decision-making as the company continues to grow and expand internationally.

Lammassaari has a strong background in financial management and reporting, as well as experience in financial analytics, forecasting, and development work in growing organizations. He also has expertise in sustainability and ESG-related financial reporting. Lammassaari holds a Master’s degree in Finance.

Marko Virtanen Appointed Sales Director Europe

Fishheart Oy Ltd. has appointed Marko Virtanen as Sales Director Europe to lead sales growth and customer development across Europe. In his role, Virtanen will also lead Fishheart’s European agent network and develop partnerships across different European markets.

Virtanen has extensive experience in international technology sales and industrial projects. After a long export career, he wanted to direct his expertise toward solutions aligned with his personal values — solutions that have a concrete, positive impact on restoring biodiversity. In his role, Virtanen focuses on helping hydropower operators implement sustainable and effective fish migration routes.
