Jan-Peter Pohjola joins Fishheart’s team

 

Fishheart Ltd. has hired MPhil (aquatic sciences) Jan Peter Pohjola to work in the role of fisheries scientist. Pohjola will work as part of Fishheart’s sales team. His duties will include domestic sales of Fishheart´s fishway solutions and worldwide sales and marketing of Eco Egg Boxes. Jan-Peter will also be responsible of planning, and implementation of river restoration projects. He will also lead a group that aims to further improve the functionality of the Fishheart-fishways. Pohjola will work closely with customers.

 

Jan-Peter Pohjola has wide experience with fisheries.

Pohjola has a wide background in fisheries. Most recently, he has been planning and implementing monitoring and research of salmonoids in Teno river flowing into the Arctic Ocean at the Natural Resource Centre and has been responsible for the implementation of a project focusing on fishing tourism at Metsähallitus.
